This complex is made up of many historic buildings including the circa 1840 Mather House which displays maritime and shipbuilding exhibits and is the headquarters of The Historical Society of Greater Port Jefferson. Also on site is a craft house and museum shop, a country store, a tool shed, a marine bar and sail loft, the Spinney Clock Museum, and the Thomas Jefferson perennial garden.
