Great Art Gallery

It's hard to believe the building was erected in 1973. Any city of half-a-million would kill to have a gallery like this, and the siting is exceptional. I love IM Pei anyway - but enough about the architecture.
Inside is a terrific collection - eclectic, to be sure, but, like the New York Times encourages reading about subjects that don't immediately grab your attention, the Johnson Museum of Art is like that. Asian pottery, for instance. AND! They're building a new wing on the north side of the building to showcase their burgeoning collections! There's something about this building, and its contents - a spirit that you'll feel as you approach the building. By far the finest structure at Cornell, imo.
