It is what it is
By Chris, 01/28/07
For a town the size of Ithaca, this isn't a bad mall. The reality is that unless Ithaca suddenly grew to the size of Syracuse or had an interstate passing by the mall, the Macy's of the world will not be coming. Still, this mall has all the basics covered, although the Best Buy could be a bit larger, Hot Topic could work for the poseur punks, and a sit-down restaurant with a bar is needed. Perhaps this will come when the new theater opens up in a few months.

Better to go out of town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/17/06
There just isn't alot that this mall has to offer. When my family goes shopping we tend to go to the Arnot Mall in Big Flats. Not as large as Carousel, but closer and with much great variety than Pyramid.

Terrible Mall!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/06
This mall needs an overhaul. It should be brighter and more inviting inside......not to mention have a better selection of stores!! We are a college town...should have things like Banana Republic, The Limited, Express, Ann Taylor, etc!! The Bon-Ton is a joke....why does it even exist here?? Needs to become more upscale....we certainly have the clientele to support it here!

Go Elsewhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/06
There are no childrens stores at this mall. They have added a few bigger names over the last couple of years, but nothing great. The food court is the worst. The only sit down restaurant is Friendly's and in the 11 years I have lived and shopped at this mall, not once have I had decent service. The mall needs more variety in the childrens, they need better restaurants and they need much better pricing. I drive 45 minutes to Syracuse and get it all. Stay away

Wonderful Mall

The Pyramid Mall Ithaca, a great mix of high-end and mid-range retail stores to fully meet the diversity of Ithacians and CNY'orkers that shop there!

Pyramid of crap
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/05
Pyramid mall is aweful! It has no variety in stores nor resturants. The atmosphere is boring and we won't begin to go on about the overpriced merchandise. If you want a *REAL* mall in the NY area take the extra trip and go to Carousal in Syracuse!

I think is great!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/04
I think that this mall has a great selction of stores. It is perfect for those who live near by to just run it and get what they need and run out. And it has some nice restrunats near by, along with a food sore, and a movie rental place!

No Variety
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/26/04
Pyramid Mall is starting to attract some of the bigger name stores, like Abercrombie and Fitch, Target, and Best Buy, but there isn't enough selection. Unlike larger malls similar to the very near Carousel Mall, Pyramid Mall's clothing stores carry very similar styles. For example, there is a Gap, an Old Navy, an Abercrombie and Fitch, and American Eagle, an Eddie Bauer, and an Aeropostale... all carrying similar style clothing. Of course there is Target and Sears for department store type shopping, but still only carry a limited variety. This mall doesn't always have what I want or need and I am forced to look elsewhere. It may improve if some more diverse stores start coming in.
