We stayed one night, they 'claim' 4 days later a blanket was missing and charged my credit card for a blanket!!! We didnt even have bags big enough to carry a blanket and left the key at the front desk as we left right in front of the owner! Sorry way to treat guests. Cant even get a call back from the owner.
Go to the Plaza Hotel instead. .
I spent one night at El Fidel. The room was neat and cosy with an ambiance suggestive of another era, perhaps pre-World War II. Didn't encounter any ghosts in Room 204. Maybe they are restricted to Room 107? If I find myself in Las Vegas again, I'll stay at El Fidel.
We spent the night in Las Vegas and found this wonderful restaurant in this historic hotel. The food was excellent--obviously prepared by someone who appreciates presentation and good food. The service was superb, and the menu advertised local produce. We were very pleased with the wine list and menu choices. Well worth the modest price.
