Fiesta Drive-In Theatre, Carlsbad

Nothing to dislike about the theatre. Reasonable pricing, good food, and lots of fun. I ahve lived in Carlsbad my whole life and greatly enjoy going to the place once or more times a week.

The Fiesta Drive-In Theatre ****Last of an era gone by. My girls and I loved going to the drive in and eating pizza & popcorn/pickles. It's sad that it closed down and nobody locally has wanted to take it on and re open it. It is a different experience then sitting in a movie theater with a bunch of strangers and crying babies. If I had the money and time I would love to open it myself!

We wanted to give our kids a retro movie theatre experience at the Fiesta; unfortunately, it's still closed. Looks like a nice place too. Oh well.

there is nothing like looking forward to enjoying the drive in, you drive down the road see that they are announcing dates and times you get there and it's CLOSED TIL FURTHER NOTICE. Thats WRONG!!!

We have been twice! Cheap an easy to find, i would sugest getting there at about 7:55pm. Movie tunes into your radio so you just pick a spot and park. Has large snack shop where prices and menu are very good. Only little, tinsy concern is you can see other screens from each screen location. if my business would consider re-positioning! But on the positive side if u had portable radio and kids wanted to watch different movies that would work. Pass the popcorn and ENJOY!!!

Wow, what an experience! I can't even remember the last time I went to a drive-in... I didn't think there were any around anymore.

I've been throught Carlsbad a few times and everytime I'm down I always hit up the fiesta drive inn. I Love the cheese fries and love watching the movies; I would tell anyone and everyone to take a visit to the fiesta drive inn!

We have the Pecos River RV Park in Carlsbad,NM and we suggest going to the Fiesta Drive-In to all our guests. They are always excited to hear that Carlsbad has one because most people havent be to one in a long time. The price is right, the workers are friendly and the place is alway well taken care of. We have even been know to go twice in a weekend when they had a couple of great movies we wanted to see. The rate is so cheap you can afford to take the whole family and then some.

beautiful drive through the Guadalupe mountains, day trip to the Caverns, great bbq a few blocks away, cheap clean lodgings at the Driftwood Inn, and a good movie in the cool NM nights . . . . how great is that?

what i like about it-it is very spacious, giving plenty of room in between each few people there,it is not like a normal theater-you can make all the noise in the world and not bother a soul i don't really dislike anything about it accept for that the snack bar isn't open while the movie is playing i totally recommend this place because it is a fun, big atmosphere that the whole family can hang in.
