Turkey Swamp Park, Freehold

i like turkey swamp park because of its beauty and lots of things 2 do there 4 the entire family.down by the water is a very romantic place-thats where i asked my girlfriend to marry me-the weather was perfect and the scenery was beautiful.turkey swamp park is a place i will always remember

The park was very clean. I t had great ammenities adn there is plenty to do for the kids. there are many hiking/running/biking trails to go on. There si a nice size lake that is supposed to be great fishing, but I've always struck out. We have been there at a least a half dozen times over the past 2.5 years.

We love this park. It is clean. The rangers are top notch and very helpful. There is a 10:00 PM quiet and it is enforced. The dump station is easily accessible and easy to use. Shower facilities are large and clean as well. We stay here every year, if possible.

Nicely shaded sites. Plenty of privacy. Pond provides water activities (ex. swimming--pool is open seasonally). There is Mannisquan Reservoir nearby which has an excellent fishing pier. We have been here nearly a dozen times, while we lived in NJ and since we moved to VA six years ago. One of our favorite places for a weekend. Also, near the ocean. For those that like Six Flags Great Adventure, that's nearby too.
