Hidden Valley Ranch, Cape May

Lovely venue, nice wine, but found there attitude too limited and not client oriented. Wanted to order 4 starters, 6 mains and 6 deserts - wanted to enjoy the starters tapas style (weren't very hungry). Were informed by "Inus" that it is not allowed. We ordered 6 mains and had coffee at another venue. My Osso Buco was nauseatingly rich because of the bone marrow added to the dish. Later informed that this is how celebrity chefs in S.A. want things done - never heard of this chef in Canada (must be a local celebrity). Never had this experience in an upmarket restaurant in a rustic atmosphere. My advice - it is a nice venue to visit, but I would just order a cheese platter. Have the meal somewhere else - it is much to do about nothing.

great place with wonderful atmosphere. they no longer offer trail rides because of state laws and pohibitations but offer lessons, boarding and summer camps. children love it and are sure to have a memorable time

There is too much Liability for the owners when doing the trail rides. Exspecially now adays. Owner of a Breeding Facility In NJ

Hidden Valley in Cape May, New Jersey is a wonderful place to go for riding lessons, boarding, or summer camp. I took my daughter this summer for the weeklong riding camp. She absolutely adored it, and we're definitely going back soon for more lessons The staff are extremely knowledgeable about horses, and helpful and friendly. They no longer do trail rides, but definitely schedule a lesson if you're in town, because it's a great place to go. The scenery is gorgeous, the horses are nice, and it is a relaxing and enjoyable opportunity.

when I called to find out info about riding I was told they don't have a trail to ride on , only a riding camp and riding lessons. ???? so what happened to the trail that a reviewer talked about?
