Bad ice quality
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/06
Went Sunday night (2/19/06) for a 7:30 session, had to wait extra 30 minutes for a session to start (there was a hockey game still in progress). They gave a very quick ice wash, that didn't help much to fix very bitten ice. Place was very very crowded, had to watch out every second not to be hurt. In the middle of an 1.5 hour session (cost $7) ice turned into a deep snow which started to ruin my blades.
My friends rented skates for $3. They were OK, but rental place was very smelly.
Would try to go again some other time. I couldn't even try to skate backwards, because skating forward was already a hazard. My friends liked it, but they just don't know anything better :)
