Nestlenook Farm Victorian Recreation Park, Jackson

My husband and I went last year and we are going again for the miralce ride with santa and,elves and workshop. This was the most beautiful time it made us have one of the best christmases we had in a long time. From the moment you step out of the car to beautiful christmas music play in the air and the lights and the gazebo with huge roaring fireplace and sleigh in it and sipping hot coco and we danced in the gazebo and the sleigh ride topped it off. feeding the reindeer and the bells and christmas music, it made us believe in us and in christmas. We are in our late forties and our kids are in thier twenties we came as a couple and this experience is what we need to have a wonderful holiday we came back this year for the mirale ride it brings back childhood memories. If you have kids or not the experience was wonderful. We believe everthough christmas is in your heart. This was the most magical and romantic time we have ever had. I hoping to come every year and feel the magic to bring it home to my family. Thank you nestlenook for rekindling my dreams.

Charming place with wonderful people working there -- perfect atmopshere -- they have managed to match "up scale" with comfort. The rooms at the inn are charming - the amenities an added bonus. At no extra cost -- bikes, boats, fitness center, heated pools, hot tubs. Wine and cheese in the evenings, fabulaous breakfast, and always drinks and snacks in the darling kitchen. You have full run of the place as a guest. We usually stay away from B & Bs but this was so much fun and a perfect experience, we are booking a return visit. Unobtrusive attentive service.

so joyous so much fun i had, it was delicious how much fun i had go here and have a killer time the staff was so nice they gave me free food and the sleigh ride was very enjoyable

We went just before New Years in Dec. 07 and just had a sleigh ride and went ice skating. The staff manning the sleigh rides left a LOT to be desired! Our sleigh was about 1/2 an hour late and the staff was unclear about what was going on. Our small kids were having fun waiting so it wasn't a huge deal but as we were waiting, they kept calling other groups up to the front of the line. By the time our sleigh came, there were so many people in front of us that we could not all sit together (it was my husband, myself and three small kids. When I asked the attendant about it, she told me in a rude manner "Sorry, we can't do anything about it!". We paid a lot of money and we couldn't even sit together! There were families and smaller parties that could have been moved around but they made NO attempt to help - even though we had originally been at the line over 25 minutes before the ride was scheduled to run. Overall, this clouded my experience but the sleigh ride itself was boring and way overpriced. My kids were bored (and they had really been looking forward to it). The deer that you feed are actually in a pen with shutes to throw the food down - not exactly as is described in their advertising! Also, the skaking pond was incredibly rough on the surface and much of it was not able to be skated on because of soft spots. Overall - an extremely overpriced and not that appealing time!

We took the sleigh ride last December and it was beautiful- plenty of hot chocolate and bon fires too! We didn't get to ice skate as there was too much fresh snow, hope we are returning this December and hopefully can do both! A little on the pricey side, but still an great experience!

Every New Year's Eve day for several years our family has skated at Nestlenook. The staff is friendly, the skating is fun, the view is incredible. It makes a great fun thing to do on the last day of the year! We tell all our friends about it.

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and would love to go back! The outdoor swimming pool in the winter during a snow storm was amazing. The fireplaced gazebo was a quaint place to sip hot chocolate and warm our toes. The sleigh ride was great.....next time we will have the champagne package! Nestlenook Farm is a winter wonderland and very romantic. Thinking about going back this winter.
