This water park is a great way to cool off and have tons of wet and wild fun. This is a swell place for both kids and adults to spend the day. Small children can have a wet time in the Little Lagoon, which features mini water slides. Big kids and adults will find the Stingray and Shark slides to their liking. For the really adventurous, give the Red Viper or the Black Widow a try. The new Hurricane Cove also promises gallons of wet excitement with rope climbs and tube slides. Montego Bay offers great waves for body surfing. If you prefer to stay dry, you can enjoy a game of 18-hole miniature golf or play in the arcade. Speed addicts will get their fix at the Formula K Raceway, the only miniature racetrack in Northern Nevada.
If you like thrills and chills, there are 8 water slides that are huge and awesome!!!!!!! If you just wanna relax and hang out with your kids, go into the Lazy River, everyone loves it. The FOOD is great... I dont know WHY someone said in a review this place was horrible. I go at least 1 time a year, oh, and if you wanna relax and have fun(and chills and thrills) go into the WAVE POOL! It's like the first thing you see. On Fire and Ice you can Race. Dragons Eye and Tail are FAST!!! There is one slide where you can decide to go backwards or forwards. And the Black Widow is awesome!!!!
Took 7 people here, age ranges 52, 34, 35, 15, 13, 10 and 8 all but the 8 year old was ready to leave after an hour because they were bored, hungry and sick of the lines. No one liked the food, it was simply awful, on top of being overpriced. It wound up being fed to the birds by my bored with the attractions kids. Left early to get something edible and won't advise it nor will we go again. First and last time, I grew up in the Reno/Sparks area, and am quite frankly glad to have missed this, because I wished I had missed it yesterday.
The trill is amazing. It's just another great attrasion for reno. Gone there almost every year since 2003. Best time to viist is when the summer is winding down, possibibly labor day weekend. Stay long enough you might see the hot air ballons tuesday morning at san Raffiel Park. So if you enjoy fast, thrilling, and cold water rides on a hot summers day,go on out to Wild Island.
Wow, It was fantasitc! You can go on all the rides and if you have a kid there is even a special pool for that with a small water slide for the kids. The new rides Fire and Ice are great! Also the dragons Eye & Tail are full of excitement. Go there if you want a family adventure this summer!
I really like the 8 speed and twisting slides throughout the park. Just all of the different attractions made for an enjoyable action-packed day. It is great for families because there is a little kid area with miniature slides and other water stuff, the bigger slides for older kids and adults, wave pool, lazy river, lots of places to buy food, and an area designated for adults only with alcholic beverages sold. I didnt really experience any cons. Just an overall fun day!
If you remember sock hops, soda fountains and Saturday night horror flicks, you'll like this drive in. It's the only
one in the area and may well be the only drive in theater left in all of Nevada. Pull ...
