wonderful FREE thing to do that is only about 20 minutes from the strip. The factory wasn't running the day we went but we got a FREE historic tour, saw some chocolate centerpieces made by famous chefs, and got FREE samples of chocolate truffles. You can purchase chocolates by the box or by each piece, I guess the pricing is about normal. The cactus garden was very nice and added something a little extra to the trip.
The Ethel M Chocolates are fantastic.
The gardens are a delight!
The waste water treatment is 'right on'... something more communities should adopt as a very sustainable way to take care of factory wastes etc. As one concerned about water scarcity and water pollution, I want the world to know of Ethel M's great effort in good stewardship.
You have to try Ethel M's chocolate. It's by far, the best chocolate I've ever had. I can't get enough of it. It's better than the other fancier chocolates out there. If you have a list of things to do before you die. Add on "Try Ethel M's chocolate"
Ethel M is the place to visit. I'm a confirmed chocoholic! My husband and I make Ethel M, first on our places to visit when we go out. That way we have those wonderful chocolates to enjoy during our stay. We stay at the Sunset Station in Henderson. It's probably not 3 miles up the street to Ethel M.
until I visited Ethel M`s Chocolate Factory I always thought of scraggly cacti as the only desert plants, But seeing these lovely plants,I soon realized this isn`t true. There are trees and flowers in an array of colors. The landscaping is beautiful!I also enjoyed watching the making of the chocolates.A most relaxing experience.
