Smith Falls State Parks, Valentine

We have made this an annual event. Camping by the Niobrara and rafting (5 hours) down the river. So relaxing... Well kept secret of Nebraska. I've lived in western Nebraska for 40 years until I found out about this hide-away. I kind of hope it stays our little secret. You have got to see it for yourself. Night's are unreal... Morning's are peaceful, and the river is a blast for all ages. If you go further down the river you'll find level 3 and 4 rapids. Can't take canoes on those. But upriver, there are many places of refuge. Try this one... I promise you'll enjoy it. We spend 3 days and 3 nights... and then we're ready and recharged for the real world. go do it!
