Mansion on the Hill, Ogallala

I did enjoy my visit here and the docents were informed and able to answer my questions. Any community is fortunate to have civic minded citizens like these who donate their time to ensure that visitors will enjoy their time while in their midst. I hope that these docents noticed that visitors from Texas are much better behaved than their great- great grandfathers were a hundred and thirty years earlier when they drove great herds of wild Texas Longhorned Cattle up The Great Western Cattle Trail. I didn't even get into a fight with anyone in a saloon while I was there. Ogallala is still a fun town to visit but maybe just a little tamer. I look forward to my next visit.
