Great guides, great waters, great boatmanship. They do what they need to do to get you into fishing, but if you want to take a break and enjoy the scenery, that is ok, too!

Loved fishing with Jack and Dave. They were fun to be with, easy on us when we missed fish, great lunch and a beautiful stretch of river. Can't wait togo back and get a little more instruction and a lot of fun.

I would recommend Wapiti Waters to anyone. We had tons of fun and learned a lot. We will be back!

Skwala Fishing with Wapiti Waters. Jack was great, he was honest about the conditions. We had to wait for the hatches but the down time was fun and when the hatches broke, WOW, what great boatmanship. He held the boat, even went back up river when we had a really good hole. I loved it! Yes, it was cold, but the piping hot soup and coffee were winners.

I did a search on the internet to find Jack and contact him to fish this year. I have fished with Jack and Wapiti Waters in the past and loved it. It is time to go fishing with him again. Jack has guided me (my favorite) but I have floated with one of his guides, too, and had a great time. He makes sure he uses only the best guides. I recommend Wapiti Waters to anyone who loves fishing or wants to learn

Jack Maurer is among the best fishing guides anywhere. His knowledge of the rivers he floats; his awareness and appreciation of the environment; his attentiveness, good humor and sense of hospitality combine to make a day on the river with Jack a day to remember. I have floated with him twice and with one of his guides once. Friends of mine have floated with him for years. The consenus (with no dissenters) is that Jack sets the standard by which other guides can be measured. He's terrific.

Wapiti Waters was professional from our first inquiry, helped us pick a good time for our trip, lodging that worked well for us, and our fishing trip of three days was a different piece of water each day, great scenery and fishing.
