Poor business conduct, manipulative and deceptive
I like to support hometown businesses, so I went into Glasscock's for a replacement part on my watch. They didn't have it, but she politely offered to clean my antique emerald cut trio platinum wedding ring passed down to me by my great-grandmother. She noticed it needed smallo prong repair and talked me into to "taking care of my heritage piece." I agreed and a week later and $140 my beautiful heritage ring was mutilated into a lop-sided obnoxious eye-sore. I was so upset that I couldn't even talk. I paid and left. I left feeling used and swindled, but even worse, my ring was so gawdy, I couldn't wear it because it snagged and scratched on everything. Finally after many months and tears I FILED it down myself with a metal file to a tolerable level. Everytime I look at my great-grandmother's ring I now think of being tricked and coerced by Glasscock's, not my heritage.
