Not like I remember
By tdctds, 08/04/08
I went back to Trailhead this past weekend. Last time I had been there was 10 years prior, when I used to live in St. Charles. I was very surprised to see that we could get a table right away in the dining room on a Friday night. 10 years ago, you had to wait for at least 30 min. to an hour for a table. My friends ordered a beer sampler, the beer wasn't very cold. I ordered my favorite dish from Trailhead, the BBQ chicken pizza. It was good but not as delicious as I remembered it being. The pretzels however, were very good! Others in my party were a little disappointed in their meals. The price our meals was reasonable. Our server was okay. Next year when I return to the area, I think I'll skip Trailhead and move on to a new restaurant. I just wasn't wowed by it, like I used to be.

WOW!

what a great spot for a bite to eat and a drink - the home-made pretzles are amazing and the raspberry infused ale is soooo good! A must visit while in the area!
