Hard to believe the gov'ment is behind this!

The Missouri State Archives houses an amazing collection of Missouri records. Historians and genealogists will find an awe-inspiring collection of Missouri County records dating from as far back as Missouri records go. The facility is new -- built in 1991 and "state of the art" for researchers. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Lockers are provided free, and there is a pleasant little lunch room with a fridge, sink and microwave (bring your own food, there are no places to eat in or near this building -- unless you have wheels.) There are vending machines with milk, snacks, candy and soft drinks.
