Cool Crest Family Fun Center, Independence

The carpets are worn and some have been patched so that there are seams that affect your ball. Some of the cups were higher than the ground so you could not gently tap your ball into the cup. The smell of bleach by the water wheel was terrible. My husband and love to play miniature golf. This is the worse place we have ever been. The greens needed vacuumed. It was very run down and there was not a pleasant atmosphere.

We just moved here, and thought that we'd bring the kids, both 11, up there to have some fun. We were there for maybe an hour, and had a pretty bad experience. First of all, the help there is definitely NOT the friendliest, or maybe I'm just too nice. When my daughter got her tokens, I asked the lady wearing the black shirt, if there was a cup or something that she could put her tokens in.. she just pointed to her left (2 feet from where the cups were) so we went and grabbed the only cups we seen where she was pointing, and it was a birthday cup. We didn't know.. we had never even been there before. Okay, then a lot of games dont work, which it happens, I understand, but what about the games that DO work, but don't spit out the tickets?? I looked over all that as well. Okay, so I sat and waited 23 minutes for someone to help me in the food area, NOBODY came to help me, just looked at me. So I went up to the ticket desk, and the lady in the black shirt was like, "You have to pay for the food here!!" I was like thanks for letting me know.. and EVEN APOLOGIZED to her for the misunderstanding!!!! And she didn't even crack a smile. I wasn't even in the wrong to have to apologize!! I ordered a large soda, and a pretzel with cheese. Neither of the girls seemed to want to make my food, and the other girl, in the black babyphat tennis shoes was like, "I don't like making the pretzels" the kinda went back and forth about who was going to make the food. It made me a little uncomfortable. Okay next, I go back in to get my food, and she put NO ice in my cup, and like a half dollar size of cheese and was very rude to me. The pretzel tasted freezer burnt, and I only had enough cheese of half of my pretzel. I looked over ALL that too. This is what really made me mad though. The lady in the black shirt obviously didn't see that I was behind my daughter, and she SO RUDELY asked her, "Where did YOU get that cup, why do you have it, and GIVE IT BACK!!" (the bday cup my daughter put her coins in) So I came out where she could see me, and I told her, "Ma'am, YOU pointed at those cups when I asked you where a cup was!!" She then said, "I didn't mean those, I meant these!!" and pointed to some clear cups behind something that I wouldn't have been able to see, when she was pointing because I was on the other side!! She is SO extremely RUDE!! She talked to my daughter horribly, and that just isn't right!! She really hurt my childs feelings. My daughter gave the cup back, and wouldn't ya know.. they put it right back on the table, after my daughters hands were in it, tokens were in it, and tickets, and germs were all over it. Now some kid is going to pick that same cup up for the next party. That is disgusting!!! I am NOT happy, especially with the amount of money I spent in that place for my kids to have a good time!!

new owners arent updating starting to go down hill we like strikerz now its not golf but its new and has arcade

My husband and I decided to take our son to play some miniature golf and were really unsure about going to Cool Crest since when we went in the summer of 2010 it was a disaster. It was trashed and everything was broke. This time was different. Everything was freshly painted and it seemed like most of the electronics were working except for a couple, maybe they will be fixed before the summer season. It seems like they put an effort into fixing the place up which means I will go back .

Nothing worked there and everything was dirty!!!! High schoolers always haved worked there including myself but this group they have hired are lazy and rude!!!! Someone needs to buy that place and get it back the way it was in the 90's and early 00's .............. im very sad how it turned out!!! what a shame

Nothing ever works at this place and if you are playing mini golf for get it!!! I dont think this place ever cleans the greens... Customer service is the worst because all they have working there is a bunch of kids who dont care about their jobs!!! Its a shame because it was a place I enjoyed as a kid but the place has went down hill; they might as well just close the place!

We love the cool crest family fun center! The game room is our favorite next to the putt putt. The value for the money is really good! The only bad thing is if it is busy and you want food from the pizza place, they don't have enough workers to accomadate the number of orders, and the restaraunt is small. Other than that the food is good, worth the wait. The games are AWESOME!!

variety of activities for entertainment of all ages. the facility was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. i especially enjoy driving the go carts on the cool race track.

I have been going to Cool Crest since I was a child. Our church youth group would have outing there. A great safe and fun place for a family atmosphere. It is great to know that some values in this world still exist and do not change. Recommended quality.
