Great Place to Relax
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/06
When it comes to baths and massages you can get any better in KC. Don't bother with the Elms. It definetely pales in comparison. The Hall of Waters has the feel of a European bath house which is an experience in itself. The prices are reasonable for the area. The people working there are definetely skilled in spa treatments. My only complaint is that they have grown a bit complacent in their service. They used to make you feel like you were the only one there showing quiet, personal service. They've set up a lunch table in the middle which I find distracting. I want to get lost in the moment, not overhear personal conversations. They need to return to the days of silence and soft music.

Hall O' Waters, Excelsior Springs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/04
The Hall of Waters is within a sumptuous WPA-financed Art Deco building that houses 4 (I believe) of Excelsior Springs' springs.

There's a huge water bar, at which one can sample waters from all over the world.

The building is a masterpiece of public works craftsmanship. There's nothing that looks like it; there's nothing that has its same function, to my knowledge.

I loved it!
