45th Annual Maple Leaf Festival, Carthage, MO

This year's festival will run from Saturday, October 8 through Sunday, October 16.
The final weekend of the 9-day festival includes the largest parade in Southwest Missouri, an arts & crafts festival, auto and tractor shows, an art walk, marching band festival, live entertainment, kids’ activities, wine tastings, and a circus. The parade is the festival's key event and starts promptly at 9 a.m. on the Carthage Historic Square and ends at approximately noon at the Carthage Middle School. Numerous activities are scheduled throughout the weekend to entertain both the young and the young at heart.
The week-long festival is filled with a variety of activities including a family fun walk, high heel race, football game, gospel sing, beauty pageants, baby & toddler contests, and lip-sync competition. Currently in its 45th year, the Maple Leaf Festival offers family-style fun combined with a home-town atmosphere.
