On The Menu is a great little privately owned business. It has a lot to offer for such a small business. I used to live in MS and I shopped there all of the time. I now live up north and I went into a kitchen store up here and they didn't have anything to offer. This store is a great assett to the Gulf Coast community and perfect for anyone who likes to cook. You can find gadgets that you didn't even know existed. Not to mention Gifts and pottery such as Gail Pittman, Vietri and many others. So if you are ever in the area definitely give it a try. And don't forget the MS sales tax is 0.7% so don't be surprised when you have to pay it when you buy the item IN Mississippi!

Store owner charges MS sales tax on items she ships to other states. When advised this was not necessary (I checked with the MS Sales & Use Tax Bureau) she became outright belligerent! Must assume this is a little extra she puts in her pocket.
