Tato-Nut Shop, Ocean Springs

I have had donuts ALL over the country, and, believe me, there is NO place like this one!!! It's just a tiny hole in the wall, with limited seating, and if you get there at peak hours, the line can stretch for some distance. But, it is DEFINITELY worth the wait!!! I have never had such light, delicious pastries in my life!!! The only shop that comes even close is in Hamilton, Alabama. Forget Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme, Tato-Nut is the absolute CHAMPION!!!!!

The Tato Nut Shop is Ocean Springs best kept secret. If you visit the Gulf Coast this little shop is a must-visit!! Though it's small the food can't be beat....

Don't let the warning (from Yahoo) about damage due to Katrina scare you off. They are back and in full operation. I didn't get to try them all, but was very pleased with what I got. If ever in the area again, I'll be stopping in!

Recently, I went to Ocean Springs, MS on a mission trip with my church. We went to TatoNut the first day, and it was so delicious, we just kept going back! The donuts are not the average "Joe Shmoe" donuts, they are the "real deals". If I lived in Mississippi, I can tell you I would gain 20 lbs of these donuts alone. Go buy some, and you'll be hooked!

The TatoNut Shop is an extraordinary place. We have donuts of just about every type. The donut that most people get is the Original Tatonut. Persians are also a popular item at the shop. The Mohlers are great people and love what they do. A dozen cost about $6.63 and trust me it is worth every penny. If you have not been there i would highly recomend it because it is the best donut ever!!!!!

Every Friday a group of friends and I would go to tatonut for breakfast before school. Tatonut is so delicious and no other donuts will EVER top theirs! And not only are their donuts good but the frozen cappuccinos are my favorite. Thank you tatonut for your great success!

We went to Ocean Springs for spring break. We visited to two aquariums, the beach, a casino and New Orleans, but all my son and husband can talk about is how wonderful the Tato-Nut donuts are! (They ate te ones they were bringing back for the rest of us, who were playing on the beach that day ...)

These donuts are great!!! Especially the blueberry cake donut and the banana nut muffin!
