Boomtown Welcome Center

Thank God for Betsy at the Welcome Center for Boomtown. Not only does she call the shuttle, but she shared a wealth of local information with us as this was our first time there. You can tell she really likes her job! Thank you

ALLTHINGS CONSIDERED

CONSIDERING COMMING BACK AFTER HURRICANE KATRINA I SAY BRAVO ! AS FAR AS BEING THE MOST FRIENDLY CASINO ON THE COAST IT ALSO OFFERS A GREAT SELECTION OF SLOTS & TABLE GAMES. ONE OF THE BEST BUFFETS I'VE EVER HAD.

"6 to 5" blackjack bad

First time in a casino in several years. Blackjack is the game where an astute player had a decent chance. Surprised to see "6 to 5" blackjack payout. Smart players will stay away. Enter "6 to 5" blackjack in any search engine. Most all experts in the game say stay away. However, if you enjoy playing so much and like giving your money away, go ahead.

Nice casino - terrible restaurant

I visited Boomtown during Labor Day weekend and found it to be a nice casino. But whatever you do stay away from their restaurant known as the "Outlander Cafe", I'm pretty sure that was the name. I've never experienced worse service from a restaurant than from this one. After we ordered it took forty minutes to get our food. And the place was not crowded at all. The food did not taste good and it was cold. I ordered the nacho chip appetizer and was told that the appetizer was the cause of our food being late. Can you believe that?
