JJ's Bowl and Lounge, North Branch

The place is dirty and just gross. The idiot manning the bowling alley that night was a jerk. The patrons are just plain crazy and rude. Horrible place to go.

Just about everything was poor exept for the pizza from Carbones which was separate from JJ's. Bar drinks were expensive and tab was full of errors....bowling lanes were poorly maintained....electronics for bowling had to be re-set by the one person working in the entire place aka...the bartender was also manning the entire bowling alley with a large birthday party and other patrons. Service was horrid; attitude was worse. Would not recommend wasting anyone's money at this place.

First off it cost 30 bucks a person for 3 games, shoes, pizza, 2 drink tickets and champange I know that might not be alot but this is a small town and you could give a little discount. It was moonlight bowling(where they have colored pins in the mix that can be in different combos to win money) so you do get chances at money shots.That were far and few.But our friend did get 2 big ones (10 bucks each one of which they didn't believe us) . And you had to always let them know you had them, she was to busy doing nothing to watch for them. One possitve I do have to say the pizza was good. When we got done with our 3 games we watched the lanes next to us play another 2 games. So we decide to play a 4th game.We were almost done with our 4th game (like the 10th and our friends had 2 left) when they just shut the lane down they couldn't have even let us finish the game it wasn't even 1:00.How cheap ass is that.Then if you go into the bar don't order a hard drink (like long island ice tea) they don't know how to make them right. It was horible.And if you ordered a rum and coke it was so weak not even a shot worth of booze.They are cheap asses.Our friend was charged something different everytime he went up to order and he order the samething everytime. The band sucked too. I guess there is a reson we hadn't gone there in awhile...And won't be going back for a long long long long time.

That place has not changed since I was in High School which was over 15 years ago. It is a dump and you get treated like crap. I don't think I have ever been charged so much for tap beer in my life.

If you want to kick back and enjoy a low-key night with good live music on weekends, this is the place for you. A little bowling in an old-school alley, a few drinks, and then kicking back to listen to some live music and dance with your partner makes for a fun night. Cozy bar/lounge with bowling alley on other end allows you to enjoy one or the other, or both if you space your night out.

for one where can you find a beer for less than 3 dollars. two why are you picking up pregnant bartenders, three that place pretty nice even though its not top of the line. i like the bar. the lanes are old, they are as good as they can be. pop is expensive at any bowling alley. its a nice bar.
