Viking Speedway, Alexandria

I agree! Going there makes racing not fun anymore.. No point in going to see the same ppl win every weekend. I think i'd rather travel the 45 min to another track then waste my time watching crap calls and horrible racing!

I live in the Alex area and travel to tracks all around the state, as well as surrounding states. I used to enjoy going to the Viking Speedway but in the past few years things have got a bit out of control there...And its quite obvious when you look at the stands saturday nights. It is a track where you have to either be on the board or know somebody on it to win. Its pretty sad and disappointing to have to feel that way and hear it all over at every other track, especially being from the area. I went lastnight just to see if things had been gettin any better this year and again there were a ton of horrible calls made by officials, and lots of booos from the crowd. Personally I wouldnt recommend this track to anybody.
