Big Lake Outfitters of Saugatuck, Saugatuck

We've used Big Lake for a few years now and always have had positive experiences! We've rented kayaks, bikes (even a tandem), pontoon boats and have always been impressed with the product and especially the service. These guys know what they are doing! I even stopped by when my personal bike had a flat tire and John went to work on it, put in a new inner tube and did some other repairs - all for no charge other than the cost of the tube. Can't beat that! A great place - haven't chartered a fishing boat yet but that it definitely on the list. I've seen many a happy group of customers return with great catches and smiles. A great place all the way around.

We went on vacation from Chicago, and were recommended this place by some work buddies. We decided to go for a boat ride on one of the pontoons. A kid named Tyler helped us, he was really nice and friendly. Not only did he tell us how to work the boat, the eye candy he provided was more then complimentary to his safety tips and inside knowledge he had of the area. The boat ride was very relaxing, and we even had some drinks on the boat from a restaurant that Tyler told us about. If the rest of the staff has half of Tyler's knowledge and helpfulness, then Big Lake Outfitters is one of the best places to visit on a vacation!

Awesome kids help carry your coolers and bags and multi task like pros! We watched them move boats in and out while answering phones and dealing with customers who were overly picky about their bycycles... This is a renal business not a high end bike shop! If you want to have a fun relaxing vacation and spend time with the dogs. Grab some grub next door at the Deli and get a pontoon boat with the fam!

Rented two bikes for our weekend stay - we went through 3 sets of bikes before we found some that were safe to ride. The first set they gave us, the tires had dangerously low pressure and on one bike the brakes didn't work. The second set one of the tires was falling off the rim and again all the tires were low on air. Finally on the third set all we had to do was fill the tires again - but while we were doing this (we were pumping our own tires since the store was too busy to do it for us) they were trying to rent our first set of bikes (the one with broken brakes!) to another couple - we stopped the worker (who was also the manager?!) and informed the couple of the unsafe bike. TIP: Spend a little more money and rent from the bike shop in town. We had even made the reservation in advance so the bikes would be ready to go for us, but instead we had to mess around for over an hour in order to get something safe to ride.

We rented bikes for a week and a pontoon on the 4th with the whole family! I was a perfect little cruise to picnic and get some sun. We didnt get the time slot that we wanted but next time we will reserve more in advance. We were surprised at the traffic downtown very busy but overall a good experience!

I loved how everything was handled here I booked a boat a year in advance because I wanted a spot and it was great!!!! I just got there about a week ago and the new owners are great and the personal there are very respectful there was a couple of blonde boys who helped us get our stuff on the pontoon we rented and one of them even held out a hand when the ladies we had with our group were getting on the boat. They were very helpful in every way. I plan on going back again next year again! They handle every situation with calmness and do not get upset at all. It was cool when we got back to the dock from our rental there was a charter boat that came in and had all the fish hung up and the captain and mate of the crew were very very very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I have told all my friends about this place. I cant wait to go back next year. It is such a cool place.

I stop down almost everyday so get a fishing report. Check out new stuff. Chat with the employees and hang out back waiting for the catch to come in. Its always a great time!

Charter Fishing for a bachelor party. Been out before and cant wait to go back!

This cute couple set my family of 6 up for a bike ride and handled our group very well. I am the mother of 4 kids 15, 13, 8 and 1 and you can imagine the things that came about. We needed the little stroller hooked on, seats adjusted, handle bars adjusted, tires checked etc... They were awesome and helped us out so we could have a great Easter.

We are fun loving and friendly. And look forward to proving to our new and old customers that we are ready to do what is takes for your customer satisfaction! Very trustworthy.
