Everything was wonderful at this place. we go there a couple of times a year.. and always reccommend the Butler to all of our friends who will be visiting the area.
The hospitality is just great, they train their help well. We are usually luchy enough to get a window seat... What a view!!!
sometimes there is a wait for a table, but why be in a hurry when you are in saugatuck??? Just plain good food all around and it is run excellnt by a gracious staff.. Keep up the great work Butlers!!!
The Butler has the best burgers in Michigan - honest! They're always prepared perfectly to my request, and taste like a little piece of Heaven. The restaurant is not noisy, and going there is always a treat. Looking out at the water and boats is wonderful.
The steaks at this place are great! Especially the New York with bleu cheese! I have alway had my steaks cook to temperature here, and have never had bad service. To top everything of the drink prices are the best in the area. It's a real bang for your buck.
This is our favorite place to go when we visit Saugatuck..always has been always will be. The cook there has been there I'm sure forever.. and it shows!! the food is always quality and value. The service is real friendly and hometown good.. not stuffy like some of the other places in town can be.
I saw the video section about saugatuck restaurants and watched a few..Wally's does not hav ethe best burger in town.. the Butler beats theirs by far!!! Really, if you want a good meal, good drinks and great service try the Butler and you will go back time and time again..
While "Burgers and Beer" are an excellent reason to visit "The Butler", the whole menu is just as excellent. My wife and I have been there several times and every experience has been worth the trip. Most time we get right in and get seated, but even when it's standing room only at the gazebo, we enjoyed the Gin and Tonic's or Bloody Mary's while we wait. From chili to salads, seafood or steaks. the food and service has always been top notch. I hope we'll see you there. I know we'll be back often.
