Frances Park, Lansing

If you haven't been and are a Lansing area resident, make the trek out there. Lansing really got this one right!

love the rose garden and landscaping (when in bloom). nice foot trail as well. great location for pictures. also good for family/friend gatherings! they have a playground for kids too. a beautiful view of the river as well. only down sides to this park is as follows: no dogs, no alcohol, and bees... but I know I can leave with that and I'm sure you can too.

This garden was always my favorite to visit in the summer. The roses begin to bloom in late June & July. There is a covered picnic area perfect for family reunions or picnics and a beautifully landscaped garden ideal for weddings. There's also a wonderful and semi-private picnic spot where you get a beautiful view of the river. As I remember it, this was also a popular place for basketball, volleyball, and softball. There are plenty of play structures for kids as well.

I would like to see the prices and when it is open to public use and do you have to reserve it.
