Family Aquatic Center, Meridian twp

Our family was there for a family fun day that turned into a nightmare. I was feeding my 7 month old baby and was told by the "pool police" that it was food brought in from outside the park and was not allowed to feed him. Its not like I had my boob out, I was bottle feeding him. I was also told I could not bring in water for my 2 year old to drink. When I was confronted by 3 of these so called employees they told me I had to leave or they would call the cops. CALL THE COPS FOR FEEDING MY BABY! I want my money back and to let all families know that this is NOT a family friendly place.

This is the best park ever thats all i have to say.

Fun and cheap way to spend the day! It does get crowded, but that's to be expected. My 11yr old son loves it! I like that they let you come and go without a recharge... we always bring a cooler and eat in their picnic area to save money. There is a sand play area and zero depth entry end of the pool for the smaller kids, several slides and deeper areas for the older kids. I like that the entire center is surrounded by tall iron fencing, there's only one way in and out. They always have an abundance of lifeguards on duty, so I feel confident flipping through a magazine while my son and his friend splash around. I've been there many times and never had a bad experience.

At this point I can't say there is anything I dislike. For an East Lansing resident this five dollar fee couldn't be better. You go all day, come and go as you please. It's great entertainment for any ages.

Whether u r by yourself or with group or just your family it is totally enjoyable. Everything u need is right there!! Spent the day there by myself ,swimming, relaxing ,reading . There enough tables and chairs and lougers for everyone ,provinding the unbrella's were and extra nice feature. Not having to have the sun beating on if you want to get out of it for a while,nice. As u can tell I just LOVE this place and will back real soon. Thanks for the people who made this place happen!!!!!

I love the water park! It is a great time for all ages. The staff is looking out for the safety of all that are their. I am very pleased that they don't bend the rules for anyone. Safety first for a reason. It is a very clean and a family fun environment.

The aquatic center is a great place to have in East Lansing. Although on hot days the pool is usually crowded, the lifeguards still do a good job of enforcing the rules. Even though they may be strict I believe that it's all just for safety. As for the height restrictions, you cannot expect them to bend the rules for one person because then they will not be expected to follow them for the next. In my experience the staff have always been very helpful and courteous.

I called and asked the height children must be to use the pool. I was told 42", but when we got there, the height was 48". The pool was very crowded with several busloads of children frm a local camp.

The aquatic center is a top notch facility. The staff is courteous, professional and helpful. The park is clean and offers a lot of different things for kids of all ages. I am glad that the staff enforces all the rules consistently as I know my kids will be safe when we visit.

I thought that the aquatic center was wonderful. My friend and I had a great time and I was impressed with the Lifeguard staff, they were very friendly and professional. I will definatly visit again.
