Even the kids thought it was great
By Candace, 03/27/08
We had a fantastic time visiting the capitol building. We are a homeschool family and decided to make a stop in our family vacation to check it out. Moans were heard from the kids, until we got there. They couldn't believe how beautiful the building was and they loved the tour. They remarked about it, and I was pleased that they have fond memories of it. This is an "at least once in a lifetime" place to visit.

Not just for history buffs...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/05
I thought it was a wonderful afternoon - one I'd repeat. The building is so beautiful and the docents do a great job of making the history of the building and it's purpose come alive. Their knowledge of the resotration, where the items were found, why they were relevant, etc. was amazing. The price was right (free) and I would definitely recommend this to anyone planning to be in the Lansing area.
