Broken equipment, rude employees, shady operation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/7/09
Took a group of kids the The Lost City for a birthday party. Everyone was very excited to play Laser Tag.
During and after the game it was discovered that 60% of the group had equipment that did not work! I understand that this gear must take a beating, but to have a failure rate like that is ridiculous.
We asked the employees if we could get a free game to make up for it and they became argumentative and rude. The first one yelled "What do you want me to do about it? There's nothing you can do!" The "manager" was even worse, yelling "I can't do anything about it! I can't give you a free game! How dare you ask for that!" Then he pointed to the disclaimer that states that equipment is not guaranteed to work.
I asked for the name and address of the owner so that I could write a letter. The "manager" refused to provide the information. The business license and sales tax license was not posted in a publicly accessible location so I was unable to get the name and address.
This operation is shady and a huge disappointment. The owner leaves a group of high school kids in charge of the place and as a result it is poorly managed, very poorly maintained, and a waste of your hard-earned dollar.
