I love Weskate Bowling Alley because the people their are kind. Also their are bowling balls for little kids not just for adults. I think everyone could enjoy it. Even if your small you would have a blast (unless you drop a bowling ball on your foot). I want everyone to try Weskate Bowling Alley. And kids going there in third grade is also nice. There were a few reasons Weskate Bowling Alley is fun.
Although I admit I never go for bowling, I go for the arcade and more specifically, the In The Groove machine they have in their arcade. Every time I've gone there, the staff have been rude and the other people disrespectful. I bought $20 of tokens there once, and asked merely for a single cup or any container of any sort for that matter to keep them in, and was flat out told "no way" by one of the staff. I had to ask about 4 staff members before one actually helped me out.
Bowling isn't ever over $20, is it? I spent a lot of hard earned money there and was given very poor service. It happens all the time there, so I definately won't be going back. Luckilly ZapZone on 28th St. now has In The Groove.
This house has a pretty consistent shot. 60 lanes so it's a big house. Lanes are usually well oiled and the back ends are very fair.
Only complaint would be they use AMF pins and not Brunswick. Beer is a little expensive at 2.75/ bottle too. Don't have much open bowling either so call before you go.
I was terrified of some of the old men who were bowling in the lane next to us. the harassment that we endured was traumatic... and the worst thing is the people didnt do anything about it. i would STRONGLY advise young women not to attend this bowling alley... thanks!
I am a high school bowling at Kenowa Hills High School and westgate alley is our home lanes. For those who are thinking about traveling here i would advice one thing...watch out for the drivers on the way. Alpine is full of traffic when it is later afternoon, but hey 60 lanes, like new lanes, freshly oiled and if there is a problem whether it is a 180 or lights out they take care of it in no time. They are nice and freindly for the most part. wether you bowling a plastic or reactive you will LOVE these lanes.
