Thousand Oaks Golf Club, Grand Rapids

The course is a very nice course, and usually in great condition. The time we played had standing water in many places. While waiting on the FIRST TEE the starter told us about 7 times to no fall behind. We never have a problem keeping up, but I rubbed me the wrong way. The course is expensive, and we felt like they just try to rush people through like cattle.

I am a teen on a high school golf team. We went to the Thousand Oaks practice facilaty. It was awsome. They have like 6 practice greens. One goes as far back as 150 yards. Then I decided to go and play the course with my friend. We loved it. I want to try to become a member there.

As far as golfing up north goes, this track on the NE side of Grand Rapids is second to none. I played it twice this year with an average cost of about 65 bones per round and I must say that the greens were in horrible condition both times I played. Not sure if this was a bad year for them or what their explination was (one was never given), but I'm sure they'll get this figured out and the greens will be killer in '06. Everything else was phenom.

I am the Program Coordinator of the Physician Assistant Surgical Residency at Spectrum Health. The banquet planning was ease and strong assurance, and as the evening approached, all was well into place. No problems or hitches of any sorts. The food was great the scenery was grand and the service was kind. The the attendees gave the best review of all...........saying to me "lets have our banquet here again next year".
