Captain's Club at Woodfield

This course has come a long way since the early days when drainage was such a problem. I work first shift and have two younger son's, so we often play twilight, and Captains Club have great deals. This is a fun course to play, with a nice layout from the black and blue's. You'll be using a lot of irons off the tee, so if you're a driver fanatic, you'll be bummed, or OB. Course experience is a plus. The GPS is useful as well. The only negative for me is all the houses on some of the holes, but understand the business end end of it.

When I drove up to the Captain's Club, I thought I was at a private facility. The clubhouse looks as if it came out of a page from Architectural Digest, and the golf course definitely had the feel of a private course. The course conditions were outstanding, and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. This, they told me, was always their busiest week of the year (Buick Open is played right across the street). I would absolutely recommend this course to anybody, and I look forward to playing it again in the near future.

I work in Oakland County Michigan but make frequent business calls in Genesee County, and found myself in one of those sales positions, where I had the opportunity to entertain customers. I called the Captains Club and they were very accommodating to us. I had no Idea that such a great track existed right off of I75 in Genesee County. After play we had dinner in there Floyd’s restaurant, and wow! Many choices, and the food and service was excellent. I would recommend this club to anyone who wants to entertain guests.
