Nice products, disappointing service

We were very excited about ordering from Three Chairs Co., but unfortunately the quality of their service didn't meet the same standard as their products. The shipment of our furniture was delayed several times, and while the cause of the delay was beyond the store's control, we were never notified about the delay. On multiple occasions, we called the store ourselves to ask if there had been a problem, were promised a call back, and then never heard anything. When we finally received our furniture, we learned the manufacturer had changed how it is made, so it was not the same product we had ordered. Apparently, this same issue had come up with other recent customers a couple weeks before our delivery, but the store made no attempt to let us know about the product change before they delivered the furniture. We were offered a discount and also told we might be able to find a local carpenter to alter the furniture to meet the previous specs, but this would be at our own cost and would void the warranty. Not what we expected from this company.
