great experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/02/07
Mike the manager was very helpful after my bed purchase. The headboard was not a good fit. Right away, he call the manufacture, had a new one delivered and followed up to be sure I was happy. Paul Benson

Great Store!
By MelissaA, 11/11/05
We have bought quite a bit of furniture from Three Chairs over the years. All of the furniture is beautiful and exactly what we expected. We were kept aprised of expected delivery dates and the delivery personnel were on-time and careful. They even brought pads to install on the bottom of our dining room chairs in the event we had hard wood floors. I think our dining room table was delayed a bit, but since it was handmade in New England, I don't think it was their fault. When the table had a slight design flaw, they worked very hard with us to get it right. The table is now perfect. Not all of the staff in Ann Arbor are extremely helpful but now we know which ones to go to if we need helpful advice.

what great value and service!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/05
We have been Three Chairs Co. customers for a long time and have had great experiences everytime we have purchased from them. Occasionally there have been minor issues with the furniture, but as all of their items are handmade, we understand this. The staff has always been pleasant and very helpful and we are thrilled with every piece we have in our home. We have had miserable experiences with other furniture stores and won't take our business anywhere else.

i'll second that
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/05
we had a similar experience with three chairs. i would never buy from them again. the product (when actually delivered) is alright(although we received a defective piece). the prices are not anything special i.e., same as every other seller of the same. we went there as we needed some things and wanted to buy a few locally. we will not do it again. the staff are cold fish and when they do not keep their end of the deal there is no offer of discount - not even free shipping. horrible disappointment overall. have seldom dealt with such unpleasant retailers and will not do so again.

Nice products, disappointing service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/04
We were very excited about ordering from Three Chairs Co., but unfortunately the quality of their service didn't meet the same standard as their products. The shipment of our furniture was delayed several times, and while the cause of the delay was beyond the store's control, we were never notified about the delay. On multiple occasions, we called the store ourselves to ask if there had been a problem, were promised a call back, and then never heard anything. When we finally received our furniture, we learned the manufacturer had changed how it is made, so it was not the same product we had ordered. Apparently, this same issue had come up with other recent customers a couple weeks before our delivery, but the store made no attempt to let us know about the product change before they delivered the furniture. We were offered a discount and also told we might be able to find a local carpenter to alter the furniture to meet the previous specs, but this would be at our own cost and would void the warranty. Not what we expected from this company.
