Ulrich's Bookstore, Ann Arbor

While the store needs some upgrades (floor/paint/old computers) to catch up with the rest of the modern bookstores on other campuses, Ulrich's Bookstore has a great helpful staff. I've always been helped by knowledgable people and directed where I can find things as soon as I walk in the door. One of my favorite places to get a book when I need it for my classes! Since I don't like Shaman Drum, I find out my book first and then I ask if anyone sold a used book to Ulrich's first. The prices are usually not bad seeing as they're convenient and close to where I live.

I don't know...I never have a good experience when I'm at Ulrich's. The staff on more than one occasion were immature/rude/unprofessional. The layout of the store is a bit odd. The textboook area is very cramped while the rest of the store is spacious. When you're paying that much for books, they should at least make it easier to navigate. I only go there if my textbooks aren't elsewhere. I prefer Michigan Book Supply.

The bookstore is great for college textbooks, office supplies. The staff is incredibly helpful, and down the street at their Spirit Shop is everything U of M you could possible want with same great staff!
