Forefathers Monument
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/08
I like it so much I did a video about it. In yahoo videos, forefathers monument. This monument represents what this country was based on from the days of the Pilgrims. It's easy to why no one knows about it. The subject matter of morals is not what people are interested in today. Jim R.

WOW!!! Forefather's Monument WOW!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/06
This was awesome! When we read the background of how it came to be, we were so impressed! It's the largest solid granite monument in the United States! When you get right under and look up, you can see that there are really 13 (thirteen!) statues on the structure!! VERY IMPRESSIVE! You can see her from the waterfront!!!WE ARE GOING BACK WITH THE GRANDCHILDREN-but first we are going to research it with them some more! It dwarfed us, so to them it will be something to remember!!!

A magnificent ode to our forefathers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/04
This beautiful monument was breath-taking. We did not even know what it was when we first spotted it from the harbor, towering over the houses over five blocks away. We knew we had to see what it really was. When we did, it was a great surprise. The detail carved statues included in the monument were so realistic looking it seemed like one would just get up and walk away at any moment. Under each statue were beautiful murals depicting the important moments of the Pilgrims arrival to the New World. This statue may be easy to miss because it is not well-known, but it was the best attraction in Plymouth to see.

Very impressive. Don't just drive around it, park the car and get up close to it, read the inscriptions, view the reliefs.
