Blue Shamrock, The, Lowell

Family atmosphere? is that REALLY what the first review says? This place is D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G. I've been dragged here multiple times against my will and let me say, it gets worse every time. The people that frequent: the guys are creepy and look like they would slip roofies in your drink and the girls all look like they crawled out of a DEB dumpster. The bathrooms? Or drug rooms? I've seen more illegal drug use in the 2 minutes in the bathroom then any bar I've ever been too. Noone is going to the bathroom in there. Bartenders act like your bothering them when order a drink and def just take your change and walk away. Not to mention, how beautiful their "clothes" are. LOL What a a joke. I understand girls dress sexy when bartending, SEXY not SKANKY. Really gross. All in all, stay away from the Blue Shamrock in Lowell. I'm really surprised they are still open.

The owners and management have totally redone the place back to when they first opened awesome vjs and with a second club right upstairs u get live music outside patio is pretty cool too but can get crowded def. will be going back to check out the bands

I think the first 2 reviews were from owners/employees... because that is NOT the Blue Shamrock i went to! Staff is EXTREMELY rude, and even pushed a friend of mine onto the floor! Bar tenders were in their UNDERWEAR! I'm talking bra's and thong panties.. very un-sanitary. Bathrooms were FILTHY. Just an all around bad vibe in the air. I've NEVER felt so uncomfortable. WILL NOT go there again! They don't even deserve the one star i was required to give!

I agree 100% with the comment below. The Shamrock was by far the WORST bar I have ever been too. The staff was rude and it made the environment very unfriendly. I will never visit the Blue Shamrock again.

dj dont know what he's doing, the bathrooms are disgusting and the bartenders have a bad attitude and take your change without question. for the rowdy college student!!

the atmosphere is great a family orientated place where you can have lots of fun,drink and dance the best part is that you have choices between floors and the varity of music, culture and sports
