Great experience

White table cloths but make it as casual as you like. Great entrees to desserts. The waitresses' recommendations are never wrong. Refreshing to see such an assortment of seafood on the menu. The Portuguese cuisine is a different twist (OK, maybe not for Cambridge and Somerville) to the usual dining choices. All at an affordable price, too! I have never been disappointed in all the times I have been there.

Fantastic food . . .

The food is excellentlly prepared, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. You will see regular Bostonians and Cambridgistas sitting next to Portuguese families which adds to the experience. Good wine list. Great menu. Being from a Portuguese family, I can say my only critique is that the flavoring/spicing is modified for the American palette. I requested they alter their Mozambique sauce (my favorite) to the real deal - and they did so with no problem. Great place.

our favorite restaurant

We love this restaurant. Not only is the REAL Portuguese home as good as home, but the atmosphere is also warm and friendly and the staff excellent. It's our favorite. Great food, great deals, good for a romantic dinner or families w/ kids.

Wonderful Inman Sq restaurant. The seafood dishes are simply delicious. Portions are generous and make a great lunch the next day.

Can't recommend!

We made a reservation for 5 persons. When we arrived at the restaurant, they couldn't offer a table. They didn't even apologize. We are disappointed and I will not go there again.
