Not a good time at all
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/04/10
Run down and shabby theme park that does not take care of their animals. I noticed the draft horses were overworked pulling the stagecoach in 100 degree heat!! Their feet looked nasty and mangled. This place is past it's hay day literally.

Don't ever go here - terrible management!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/09
This was our first and LAST visit to this campground! We booked over 18 months in advance and got the worst service! Our camp site was situated right near a canal which flooded terribly EVERY high tide which is twice a day. At one point our electrical line was floating. so scary. the management was terrible. We asked to move our site since I was scared. they told us they couldn't do anything and that we had to deal with the outdoors experience. The front desk people asked me if I chose this spot, of course I didn't I had never been there. Then I asked if we left would we get our money back on the unused days- I was told NO. then we asked them to comeout and join us at high tide and they conveniently said no. I asked them how they would feel to have paid so much money each day to stay in this expensive campground only to not be able to use our site, how would they feel? no response. The water came up to the fire pit and we were told not to move it. get that?! Well I guess now you are getting the point that the management didn't care about the paying customer to their facility. I am truly writing just to save someone else from wasting their hard earned money on this campground only to have your vacation be ruined. There are other campgrounds down the street from this one, do yourself a favor and listen to this review and don't stay at Frontiertown!

No more for me
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/09
WOW the humane socitey needs to check the western theme park out. The Draft horses need some serious attention to their feet I felt bad going to the stage coach when I noticed the nails from the shoes exposed fron the broken hooves. Next lets talk about the sorry prices to get in. I can get into six flags for 5 dollars more and go on rides and have fun the entire day. oh yeah and I could push my brothers wheelchair (disabled veteran from Iraq). The deep sand all over the "theme park" made it almost impossible. I had to turn his chair around backwards (as if he doesn't have enough issues already). since we are talking price the food prices were outrageous in the long horn saloon. $4.50 for a slice of pizza? My son wanted a belt with his name in itwhat father wouldn't want to get his son something so simple that would make him happy. well the creepy guy working the leather store could barley hold a conversation and had some below standard work on the cheep belt. This place was just a joke. I hope this will help some people before they ruin their vacation

The best campground on the east coast.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/09
We`ve been to alot of campgrounds on the east coast and frontiertown has them all beat. Many , many things to do and don`t forget the dock to fish off. My kids love it. Only drawback is you have to make reservations 1 year in advance I guess that`s because it`s so popular.

Fronteer Town ROCKS
By OBsonogirl, 06/21/08
We had the best time here - My husband, myself and our 8 and 5 yr old blys. We loved it - there was something that everyone liked. The water slides were not too high or too crazy, great for both kids (and us!). The ship and pool and little slides were great for my 5 yr old. The golfing was not too long or involved - perfect for thekids. We had a great time and would go back in a second

A must place to go
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/07
I remember going there when I was a kid and now that I have taken my kids, I am now taking my grandchildren. A very affordable price, and the attractions are spaced out enough to give you time to get from one to the other. It also gives you time for bathroom breaks with the kids and grabbing something to eat. Staff is very friendly and open to the visitors. You can pack your own lunch go to your car eat and come back in with your reciept. You feel as though your back in the west. Stage coaches, steam trains, and gunfights. The re-enactments are narrated so you understand whats going on. They even use visitors in parts of the shows from the kids to the adults. A great time for everyone. My grandson was in the kiddy version of gunfight at the ok corral.
