Terrible Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/11
This was not at all what we expected, especially with the price paid for admission. It was terribly overpriced for the overall experience. I do not recommend this to anyone. I give credit to the actors, but besides that there is nothing worth visiting. For the entry fee, the ambiance is nonexistent. There were actually 2 deer heads hung on the wall of the theater, which had nothing to do with the play. If that is what you are interested in while you eat, then go for it. We were served on plastic tablecloths with paper napkins. The food was sub-par and the temperature of the theater was sweltering. Several people complained about the heat. Unfortunately, the system for dinner is antiquated and long. Since we had an earlier number to be called to the buffet, we wound up waiting over an hour after we finished eating for the show to start. Then, intermission lasted 35 minutes. There was far too much down time with nothing to do.
We were just shocked at the "simplicity" of everything, especially for the price of admission. I never plan to return and I do not recommend it to other diners either. The acting was average, for a dinner theater. Since the actors were also the waiters, that increased the wait time. We gave this as a Christmas gift to my in-laws and I am sad to say that I was completely embarrassed after the whole experience.
