The Congressional Golf Course features two courses—the par 70 Gold Course and the par 72 Blue Course. The latter was the site of the 1964 and 1997 U.S. Opens, the 1976 PGA and the 1995 Senior Open. Those familiar with Congressional consider it a monster of a course. Its fairways are long and tight, and it is heavily wooded.
