Yacht Basin Co., The, Annapolis

This marina is staffed with the only true misongynists I've ever encountered. Although, they are equally nasty to men with small boats. They create problems for the boaters and then pretend they have no control. They are surly, too busy to be bothered talking to the patrons. And, all the while they are asking you to be pleased with their service. This is one marina to which I'll never return - and suugest you save yourself the regretful experience.

My Family and I took a trip to Annapolis last season on our 40 SeaRay. While the Marina is located right in Historic Downtown if your looking to realx on the boat just about eveything is located on site. From Gas, Diesel, Ice, EXTREMELY CLEAN bathrooms and showers, Pumpout on fuel dock and a convient pump out boat, shore power, cable T.V., free wireless internet , and many others. =)

Yearly trips up and down the eastcoast, I've been lucky enough to stay at many marinas. Each one has it's own advantages. I've found the Annapolis Yacht Basin to be one of the best. Easy navigation, extremely well maintained docks ( ie.Power pedestals, cable T.V. that actually "work" throught the facility). Spotless bath house. Very knowledgeble management and polite dock hands. While the marina does not have haul out capabilities, numerous yards with crane, travel lift and rail service are just across the creek. Reliable service work is offered via sub contractors at the Basin, provided they have proper insurance. The basin even has a mobile pumpout boat! Along with 2 more pump out stations on the fuel dock and high speed fueling, I consider this marina a true "must visit". And considering thier location in the heart of Annapolis, the Yacht Basin is "cheap" compared to the likes NewPort R.I., NewYork, Peir 66 Fla.
