wow!
By Garrett, 12/18/05
great place to get what i think is the best pint of Guinness in Annapolis. Knowledgeable bartenders too! we had a great time! Music selection is wonderful. They have live music almost every night of the week. Some great happy hour specials 4-7

If you need a good beer this is the place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/8/05
If your looking for a good pub around Annapolis I would definitely check this place out. They have a great selection of irish beers. And they brew one of them themselves, called the Three Nuns. The Three Nuns is an amber colored ale with a thick creamy head. A couple irish favorites that they sell are Beamish and Smithwicks, both dark beers. Good irish music is playing in the background rather than some bad hip-hop or rock that you find in most bars. (I have not had the food so I cannot comment on that) If your wondering the streets of Annapolis and looking for a drink I would definitely try this place out. And definitly try the "Three Nuns."

1st Visit to Castlebay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/04
On our first visit to Annpolis, we decided to search for a good Irish watering hole. Castlebay's was the first one we encountered and decided to try it out. My wife and I bellied up to the bar and immediately felt like we were in Ireland. Maybe the soft sounds of Irish music playing and the dark wood interior had something to do with it... The bartender was friendly and informative. We immediately felt comfortable at this place. Beers on tap were delicious and creamy. We could tell the expertise of the bartenders by the way they poured the Guinesses. We had a few apps, such as Oysters on the halfshell and Crab/Artichoke dip. Both were fresh and delicious! We will be back very soon to check out the entertainment when we attend the US Powerboat Show. Needless to say- this place is highly recommended!!!!
