unsafe captain
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/5/11
Went on 4th of July fireworks cruise. After the fireworks, upon entering the river the captain exhibited unsafe navigation in a busy nightime situation. He was continually riding up upon small vessels, flashing his lights on them, and verbally abusing families with small children. Would you take your family out on this boat???

First Experience!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/10
It was great!! I went with my Junior girl scouts, it was most of ours first time on a whale watch. So a few whales and got lots of excellent pictures! They have a nice snack shop with a variety of food on board! The girls loved it so much they want to do it again next year!!

Ok, some false advertising
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/8/10
The crew was very nice and informative. The boat ride was wonderful (on a hot sunny day) and we saw several dolphins that came right up to the boat. However, we saw no whales. Within 5 minutes of being on the boat, the captain told us that there was a "dryspell" and very few whales had been sighted recently (wish he has told us before getting on the boat). The captain spent a lot of time trying to find whales and he saw about 4-5 with binoculars but no one on the boat actually saw these Minke whales. When I spoke to Marge, the manager, about receiving the free voucher as described on the website-she stated that the first mate declared the boat as having whale sightings. This was very disappointing considering that we did not actually see whales (and we were right next to the captain the whole trip) and the company promises a voucher if there are no sightings. It seems they try very hard to have "sightings" from afar to avoid providing the passengers with the free vouchers-kind of false advertising! Otherwise it was a wonderful time and whale watching is definitely all luck. Would consider using this company again but would definitely do more research and inquire about the free voucher before committing to the $50 trip.

FANTASTIC!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/10
We found this company through a google search of the area. The day we had made reservations for had quite unpleasant weather so they phoned us to reccommend another day. We ended up going the next day and it was such a great trip. We saw a few minke whales, seals surfing at Boone (sp?) Island and a large pod of dolphin along the way!The boat was very clean and the crew was very informative (one was a marine biologist). The captain was quite the character and told stories of his old tuna fishing days! We definitely give this trip two thumbs up!

AMAZING
By Sandy, 9/2/09
We visited Maine in August, the only thing I wanted to do was a whale watch. We choose this one. I wanted to do it first thing in case we didn't see any whales since we had 4 adults and 6 kids. I was nervous about spending the money and not seeing anything. Well it far exceeded my expectations. So many whales, how amazing to see that. An experience we will never forget. Even my 7 year old said "it was so much fun". I hope we are lucky enough to do this again. Thank you everyone!!!! Don't miss it!

Think Twice....
By Anonymous, 8/18/07
You may want to think twice before signing up for this half-day ride. What they don't tell you: 1) A $10 parking fee will be added to the cost of your tickets when you arrive; 2) This is a CHOPPY ride - I NEVER get sea sick, however, I spent the entire trip either in the very DIRTY bathroom or with my head in my lap; 3) many times, there are no whales, so on this particular trip, the captain extended the watch into SIX hours, which ended up taking up the majority of our day. So be prepared: if you have afternoon plans, you may want to know that you might be late! We ended up seeing 6 whales.

Fantastic!
By William S, 11/3/06
What a great way to spend a day. Seeing the humpbacks, and all the sea life was grand. AFter seeing the whales, on our way back we watched schools of fish jumping and so many things. A *must* if you visit the Kennebunkport area!!!
