1 reviews for St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church
One of the Finest Churches in the South
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/28/05
This Church is, in my opinion, second only to St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans in terms of grandeur. Its not as sophisticated as the cathedral in the French Quarter, but it exuberates the Cajun style of simple architecture to a higher level. Be sure to check out the baptismal font donated by King Louis XVI and the statue of Evangeline in the back.
