Disgusting and Overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/09
The facilities were run down and dirty, the water had a film on it. There was trash everywhere. My kids enjoyed it, but we soon left when my son brought me trash from the kiddie pool - a cigarette butt. No, thanks!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/09
My friend and I drove almost 3 hours to get to this place. It was nasty and a rip off. After you pay 20 bucks to get in..... you have to "rent" water tubes to use the so called lazy river. The bathrooms were nasty, there was not much to do, and the staff looked like they were about 12. We asked for a refund but they would not give us one.

Needs major renovations!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/08/09
Went there in the 80's when I was in high school. Returned for the first time last summer with my kids. I must admit I was shocked when I walked in. The big blue slides you see when you first come in were very faded, the concrete around the pools was cracked and in need of painting. The kiddy pool slides were run down. There was only one food concession stand and one for ice cream. The ladies bathroom was hot at stuffy and my son said the men's bathroom was disgusting!! He said he didn't even want to change clothes in there! As you walk further back, the wave pool did seem pretty nice, but by the time you heard the buzzer and ran to get in to catch a wave, the waves were gone! There are two slides in the very back, one you use with a tube and one without. My 5 yr old daughter loved the one without a tube, but you could see where it had been patched several times and not repainted. The one you use with a tube didn't even have enough water flow to keep the tubes from getting stuck and then you had to get off your tube and make your way down pulling your tube behind you. The lazy river was horrible. You had to pay for a tube to get in dirty water that won't even push you along, so you pretty much walk through so you can hurry up and get back around to get out. I must admit though, that this was the only dirty pool (at least appearance wise) there. All of the other pools were crystal clear. Don't know how sanitized, but they were clear. There were also numerous lifeguards about that were constantly blowing whistles and jumping in to help people that didn't even seem to be having any problems, so I have to disagree with the lazy lifeguard reviews - at least on my visit any way. They seemed to be overly cautious, making you wait forever before allowing you to slide or jump off the rocks. I think it's overpriced for what you get. I wish they'd take some of the money and fix it up. All in all, it is in desparate need of repair, but the pools were clean (except the lazy river), and my kids had fun. If they want to go back, I'll take them since we're only 1.5 hours away.

Been there done it - won't do it again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/08
We went to Watertown today. We were trying to decide between there and Splash Kingdom. We will never go back there again. The price was the same as Splash Kingdom - go figure that???? If you are a teenage girl with a bikini on - the lifeguards will give you all the attention you want. Forget it if you are a child or an adult. We saw several lifeguards asleep at their station - what happened to watching the children????? I can't believe we had to pay for a raft to go down the lazy river. I have never tried to walk down a river and consider it relaxing. The grounds were filthy. Trash was all over the place. Bathrooms were disgusting. No wonder people use the pool to pee in.

had a great time
By Shane, 07/29/08
the price for admission was great - the water was clean - we took our 2 boys 5 & 2 years old - they loved it - they have plenty for both to do - cant believe that you have to pay for tube rental? - lazy river was my 5 year olds fav - the wave pool was great too - i have read some of the other reviews and i disagree - we all had a great time - the place was not nasty - the life guards were really young and yes we saw one sleeping - but we stayed with our kids - we did not use the life guards for babysitters - they didnt have wagon rental so bring ur strollers - we plan on going back

Enjoyed it no long lines great for small children!!
By RoseP, 06/27/08
We have been twice and loved it! We stayed all day. The park is on a smaller level, but I liked that b/c the kids were very happy in the wave pool or the kiddie part with frog slides and the bucket of water that dumps out on them. My husband an i rode the tunneled slides and innertubes almost the whole time while are friends rode we sat in the kiddie pools and spent time with the girls I have had so much fun. The small aspect of it made it great for just a day trip with my friends and their kids. We all had a good time. Deffinatly would go back with soon.

NEVER AGAIN
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/08
We had a very horrible experience with Watertown. Last summer when we went there was human feces in the kiddie pool. I went and informed the nearest life guard that I could find. They came scooped the poop and never shut down the pool. DISGUSTING.. We left right away. Well this year we decided to give it one more try as it is the nearest anything fun from my home. There was 6 of us this time. We arrived at 11:00. We all began riding things right away. At 3:30 we decided to call it a day and told the kids to choose what they wanted to do one more time. All choose the big blue slides. After climbing those long tortures steps we were told that our little one was not tall enough to ride. WHAT??? He had been riding all day. I asked for management, and ended up getting the head life guard. He stood behind the other's decision, but he was one of the ones who allowed our little one to ride to begin with. He was measured and was just barely above 42 in. I asked to speak to the Assistant General Manager's boss, which never happened that day. I came home and called to complain and was told "well it seems you got your moneis worth you got to ride everything all day. Consider him riding an added bonus." Just plain RUDE and INCONSIDERATE... One of the life guards on the Bonzi was sleeping also will we were there. The handrails are broken on the Pipeline and cannonball. All needs painting. The bathroom/dressing room really needs to be cleaned up. Not worth the price at all. I will never go back. You better not have any problems while you are there cause nobody is gonna listen.

We will go back again.
By TanyaP, 05/30/08
We had a good time. My husband and I have a 12 year old, 9 year old, and 2 year old. There are things to do for every age group and the price is reasonable. There were a few slides broke down, but plenty of other things to do. My 2 year old loved the kiddie pool with slides, wave pool, and lazy river. My older children loved the wave pool, slides, and the jumping rocks. My husband and I loved the lazy river and that all 3 kids were enjoying themselves at the same time. The food wasn't bad and neither were the prices. Everyone was friendly, and most seemed to pay pretty close attention. Don't forget your sunblock, we used it and still got burnt.

not good for kids
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/07
my daughter was injured in august at the park.she was on vacation with her grandparents and sliced her toe and fractured her foot.she has had extensive doctor visits and is facing a surgery.the same day she was injured a little boy was cut on a screw/nail going down a waterslide.i believe if you are going to have a business that attracts families you ought to have accomadations to do so.i will not return to the park.
