All i've heard about harrah's was the loose slots!! well, not sure where the loose slots are, cause i didn't find them!!!! the buffet was very good, but no one was hitting very well....

I really liked the track and casino. Liked the slots, liked the buffet and the food outlets, and Fudruckkers. The hamburgers were awesome. I liked the food and drinks in th evending machines. The slots were loose at times. I like the self serve bevrage stations. Love the ticket in out slot machines. I like the restarunts outside of the slot area so kids can eat there!!!

You can have the best food availible,but if you have employees with no people skills serving that food,quality can go by the wayside.Went to buffet last night,pan had 5 pieces of chicken in it (dried),no greens(pan empty),mashed potatoes almost empty,you could see where they had been scorched.This was about 2 hours before closing,so I don't think that was the problem.For some reason this area of the line always needs attention,maybe it's because the ladies working this area are to busy BSing and will tell you in a heart beat thats not their job when you ask them to do something pertaing to the line. On a scale of 1-10,10 being the best I would rate the buffet a nine,would be a ten if these people had the skills needed to be in contact with the public.Majority of employees working the line are super friendly and helpful.

We had a horrible experience with a hostess that sitted us a the buffet at Louisiana Downs. We paid the gratutity with the cashier for our party to sit together(we had a group of 10) and the hostess informed us in a very rude way that we were not sitting together. Then my husband told her yes we were b/c we paid for it she told him he did not have to have an attitude about it. The manager was called and she smoothed things over but the next week we came in again for breakfast, the same hostess was there and she and another hostess were bad mouthing and talking about us openly so we are finished with this establishment till that can get some people who are respectful of the customer. The omelet and egg lady are very nice.

CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN TO HARRAH'S IN JANUARY. I WONT 23 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN NOVEMBER. HAD A GREAT TIME. FRIENDLY STAFF AND SERVICE PEOPLE. ALL THE MACHINES ARE HOT

The slots here are OPEN. Open meaning that you can actually walk around without walking into someone. There is the added advantage of Horse Race Betting as well. The Buffet is My favorite in town , and I frequent it often. The Dessert Bar has Marble Slab Icecream, A personal favorite. I would suggest this as an eating place to everyone if you are in the area.
