lived in louisiana all my life and decided to stop by the alligator park on our way home from texas just to stretch out legs we ended up staying for 2 1/2 hours.
watching them feed the gators was fun and they have plenty of animals to feed, goats, emus, ducks and some racoons so bring your quaters or buy a few bags of animal feed when you pay your admission,,like .50 a bag,,,well worth the money...my 5yr old daughter had a blast and so did the grown ups would stop buy any time im in the area..
nice homley feel with a true touch of cajun fun.
Has an overall 'campy' atmosphere of long-lost roadside attractions from the '50's and '60's... the ones youd find on roadsides and state highways, glorified on the Travel Channel.
Trust me, it's a good thing.
Great staff, reasonable prices, enough to keep everyone interested for a few hours. Just look for the school bus-turned-alligator on the highway, and you're there!
