Louisiana best guide charlie ledoux really goes out of his way to make sure you are enjoying the stay and the hunts can't be any better.
Charlie meet us at the air park and was very delightful to meet. He drove us back to his camp and what a great drive, we saw lots of geese along the way making us all fell good about being here in southwest louisiana. Once we arrived at the camp and unloaded our gear, Charlie had some of the best seafood gumbo I ever tasted. We sat around after a great meal and prepared for the morning hunt, goose hunt that is. Charlie went over some safty and made sure we were familier with our guns and had enough shells. We awoke to coffee and breakfast and was in the field for daylight. What a awsome hunt we all shot most or shells, those geese are hard to take down, I think the steel shot don't help much. We harvested 14 birds between my brother, his son and I 8 snows 4 blues and 2 eagle heads. We left the field about 10:00 am and went back to the camp eat lunch while our birds were cleaned. After lunch Charlie broght us back to our plane with our birds all packed on ice. Thanks you Charlie we had a great time. We are going back next season and bringing heavy shot, Charlie says it helps. I only wish I would have stayed longer!
